Great to visit the Silverhand Estate Farmers Market this afternoon in Luddesdown and meet with local farmers, businesses and residents. This is only the third monthly Farmer's Market that Silverhand have run but they will be back on the third Saturday of every month next to the Silverhand Distillery and The Lion Pub in Luddesdown which I also would recommend the burger and sticky toffee pudding!
Great to visit PrepWorld today which is a local factory and business that employs over 500 people, many of them local residents, taking fresh fruit and preparing it for consumers. It was great to learn about the process and the complexities in ensuring some of our favourite foods are prepared safely and learning about their plans and vision. Thank you to the team for the opportunity.
Delighted to take part in one of the regular litterpicks in Northfleet today and will be reporting some of the flytipping that we found on the railway land to Network Rail for investigation and enforcement.
